You can%u2019t sit!%u201d Alice replied, %u201cBut there%u2019s plenty of room!%u201d Alice felt angry and sat down at the table.The March Hare offered, %u201cHave some water.%u201d Alice looked around, but she didn%u2019t see any water. She asked, %u201cI don%u2019t see any water?%u201d The March Hare replied, %u201cThere isn%u2019t any.%u201dThis upset Alice and said, %u201cThat%u2019s not nice. You shouldn%u2019t offer things you don%u2019t have.%u201dThe March Hare replied, %u201cWell, we didn%u2019t invite you to the tea party, but you came and sat. I think you are rude.%u201dAlice didn%u2019t know it was their table. She explained, %u201cI didn%u2019t know it was your table. It%u2019s for more than three.%u201dThen the Hatter said something about Alice%u2019s hair, %u201cYour hair is not beautiful.%u201d Alice said, %u201cThat%u2019s not polite. You shouldn%u2019t say things like that!%u201dThe Hatter opened his eyes really wide when he heard that. But all he said was, %u201cWhy is a raven like a writing-desk?%u201dAlice thought, %u201cThis will be fun! They%u2019re asking riddles. I think I can guess that.%u201dThe March Hare asked, %u201cDo you think you can solve it?%u201dAlice replied, %u201cYes, I do.%u201dThe March Hare said, %u201cThen you should say what you mean.%u201dAlice quickly said, %u201cI mean what I say.%u201dThe Hatter disagreed, %u201cThat%u2019s not the same at all! It%u2019s like saying %u2018I see what I eat%u2019 is the same as %u2018I eat what I see%u2019!%u201dThe March Hare added, %u201cIt%u2019s like saying %u2018I like what I get%u2019 is the same as %u2018I get what I like%u2019!%u201d
